✨ some things i’m enjoying and want *you* to enjoy ✨
Lion Dancers by Cai Tse: I’ve been so excited for this middle grade graphic novel about a rivalry between two lion dancers, and I’m so glad it’s finally out! The little lion dancers at our kung fu school have been loving it.
I’m obsessed with a Netflix Korean cooking show called Culinary Class Wars. I feel like it’s the most anime that a cooking show could ever be (in a good way!) — it has underdog chefs battling it out with ten elite Michelin-star/award-winning/famous chefs. The underdog chefs all have nicknames, so we don’t knot their actual names. I’m rooting for "Master of School Meals,” a contestant who is basically just like, the best school elementary lunch lady of all time.
I love this citypop cover of Good Luck, Babe!
